My fascination with jewelry began long before I ever thought about designing it.
As a child, I collected rocks and crystals, drawn to their colors, textures, and unusual formations. I would find books about different minerals, eager to understand where they came from, how they formed, and what made each one unique. There was something captivating about discovering beauty in things shaped naturally over time.
That curiosity eventually evolved into an appreciation for adornment.
Growing up, I also admired my grandmother's beautiful jewelry box, filled with pieces that held their own stories. The box was eventually passed down to me, and I still own and use it today, keeping some of my most treasured pieces inside. It remains a reminder that jewelry can carry memories, sentiment, and meaning far beyond its material value.
Statement92 was born from the intersection of these two influences: a fascination with the natural world and an appreciation for the personal significance of jewelry.
I'm drawn to sculptural forms, unexpected details, and the relationship between materials and design. Whether I'm creating an everyday piece or something entirely custom, I approach jewelry as an opportunity to explore individuality and expression.
My work is an ongoing exploration of form, craftsmanship, and curiosity. As I continue to learn and refine my practice, my intention remains the same: to create pieces that feel distinctive, personal, and worthy of becoming part of someone's story.
Jewelry with a point of view.
